GALA 2015 VIP LAWN MOWING A BIG HIT!

One of the hottest items competing for auction-goers bids  at Youth Crossroads’ spring fundraiser was the Gala 2015 VIP Lawn Mowing Service. Ten local “celebrities” formed two teams and made their lawn mowing skills available to the two highest bidders — Eddie Garcia and Gil Pena.  The teams are keeping the winners’ lawns nice and trim this summer. Thanks to all participants for making this possible and the two bidders for their generous contributions!

VIP Mowers included: Berwyn Mayor Robert Lovero, Berwyn Park District Executive Director Jeff Janda, District 100 School Superintendent Stan Fields, Unity Church Pastor Julie Boleyn, Berwyn Police Chief James Ritz; State Representative Lisa Hernandez, North Berwyn Park District Executive Director Joe Vallez, District 200 School Superintendent Michael Kuzniewski, Berwyn Development Corporation Director Tony Griffin, and Cicero Police Superintendent Jerry Chlada.
