YC Volunteer Opportunities
Make a difference in the lives of youth in your community! Youth Crossroads, Inc. has a variety of volunteer opportunities where you can contribute your talents, experience and time for the benefit of local youth, families, our agency, and our community. Please choose the area of most interest to you:
Board of Directors
Board members ensure that the agency meets identified needs in the community through effective, professional programs and services, that YC has the resources to carry out those services, and that they represent YC with integrity in the communities we serve. Attendance at monthly meetings throughout the year, initiating special projects suited to your skills and interests, and securing direct or indirect financial contributions are the primary responsibilities for a 3-year term on the Board.

Clinical Services Internship

Adult Volunteer for Youth Development Program Activities
YLP adult volunteers may assist middle school or high school youth with a wide variety of community service projects; provide supervision at leadership training conferences or workshops; provide tutoring and mentoring for kids in our after-school programs, serve as chaperones at social or recreational outings; mentor youth participants; speak to youth about your career or areas of expertise, etc.
Or, if you have a special talent you would like to share with youth, such as art, science, music, photography using smart phones, computer graphics, public speaking, job applications, job interviewing, etc., we can provide an attentive group of students with an interest in your area of expertise.
Special Events & Projects
Several times throughout the year we need extra pairs of hands to help with special mailings, as well as planning and organizing special events and fundraisers. If you would like to join in the fun and/or have a special talent you would like to share with us, please contact Teri Terrazino at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Adult or teen maintenance volunteers are needed to assist weekly or bi-weekly with general office cleaning. Days and times are flexible.
