YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM INTERNSHIPS

College interns in our Youth Development Programs receive a well-rounded experience by working directly with youth while also learning about program preparation and other components for community-based agencies.  Interns should expect to plan, organize and lead groups of youth in activities that meet their developmental needs and interests. These activities include active sports, games, arts and crafts, homework help, nutrition, science, drama and others.  Interns are expected to be flexible, understanding, patient, and demonstrate good listening skills.  We strive to provide an environment in which youth can feel comfortable, relaxed, happy and involved.
