Make a difference in the lives of youth in your community! Youth Crossroads, Inc. has a variety of volunteer opportunities where you can contribute your talents, experience and time for the benefit of local youth, families, our agency, and our community. Please choose the area of most interest to you.
Counseling Services Internship
If your educational interest is learning to counsel youth and their families, Youth Crossroads provides two internship tracks for Master’s Level college students to learn the process of counseling – from handling intake calls, completing assessments, and providing individual/ family/ group counseling with medium to high risk youth. All internship opportunities are two semesters, August to May.
To apply for a Counseling Services Internship, please send cover letter and resume to Michelle Desideri at email@example.com.
Youth Development Program Internship
College student interns in our Youth Development Programs receive a well-rounded experience by working directly with youth while also learning about program preparation and other important components of community work. Interns should expect to plan, organize and lead groups of youth in activities that meet their developmental needs and interests.
